Bayan Lepas
Bayan Lepas Snake Temple - Dedicated to deity Chor Soo Kong, the temple is located 3.2km from Penang International Airport. A sanctuary for pit-vipers said to be the servants to the deity. These poisonous snakes seen coiled round the pillars, beams and potted plants within the temple are believed to be rendered harmless by the smoke of the burning incense.
Kompleks Bukit Jambul - Located at the fast-developing Bukit Jambul area, this RM350 million complex is the largest in the northern region. It features 414 shops, hypermarket Cosmart, an ice-skating rink, food court, a high-tech amusement centre, six cineplexes and a 40-lane bowling alley.
