Sri Aman cover an area of 5,466.25 sq km and a multi-cultural population of over 70, 000, the administrative division of Sri Aman (formerly known as the District of Simanggang) is a 4 hour drive from Kuching.   Six towns come under the authority of the Sri Aman Division. These are the towns of Sri Aman itself, Lingga, Pantu, Lachau, Keranggas Gayau and Sungai Tenggang.
